Do Friends Spoil?

Do Friends Spoil?

Do Friends Spoil?

Not the Stinky Spoiled but more like Spoiled Rotten....

If you're a parent you know how easy it is to spoil a child. After the fact, you're kicking yourself for allowing this to happen but what about the ramifications of spoiling a friend? My Friend, let's just call her Ms. M. She has many passions but the top 3 are Fashion, Chanel and Pearls. Good friend to have if you have a jewelry biz right? Ummm, not so fast. When I first started I was floundering for inspiration and Ms. M. came to the rescue. She started sending me necklaces she liked. Surprise! Surprise! They were all Chanel, Pearls or both. So, here is the first idea she sent me and what I did with it.

Chanel 1 Spoiled

Well you would have thought I invented ice cream she was so pleased. Truth be told, she is partly responsible for my inventing the Twisted Sister Technique but I digress. Next came this:

Chanel for Spoiled Sautoir

I think the ice cream is beginning to melt! She liked it but wanted those cute Chanel C's like in the original. Where the H am I going to get those? Next up were some Stella McCartney PEARL necklaces that I made but they were technically difficult to make and had no room for any creativity so I made and sold a few and gave up that design. Then we had the Safety Pin and Pearl phase. All the while she is becoming less dazzled by my "Talent" and more about why can't you do this it doesn't look particularly difficult? So this begs the question; Can you spoil a friend?  I am not sure I know the answer but here is her latest want.

Chanel Spoiled 3 - 1

Not to worry Ms. M. I still love you and welcome your next inspiration! Spoiled or NOT!

Let's chat soon,

Carol

PS I have lots of new ideas for the months ahead.  Hope you stay tuned!  If you know of anyone who might like this romp please sign them up HERE!
