Most of you know because of my childhood....
I'm not much of an animal lover. I'm not proud of this but it is what it is. I cracked everyone up at the gift exchange this year when I got the Dog Calendar and no one would let me exchange it. HA HA!
But I AM capable of having a soft spot in my heart. I made my living as a computer salesman and there is one universal truth about sales people. We have a soft spot for other sales people. If you were a sales rep please confirm this. I can't tell you the number of things I bought that I didn't need because the sales rep was trying so hard.
That is why I fell in love with this Roasted Sweet Potato Sales Dog. Isn't he cute? Read on for the adorable story.
This friendly Japanese salesman greets visitors and welcomes them to sample his signature roasted sweet potatoes. But a sign outside the stand reminds visitors that he can’t give you change—because he is a dog. So the customers are on the honor system. Can you believe it? I don't want to be a cynic but I don't think this would work in this country. Do you?
