You'd better keep your distance!

I can't decide if this is clever or goofy? I'll let you decide....

During the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279) Chinese Politicians took to wearing a Futou Hat. It looked like this:

The purpose of these hats was to keep officials away from each other so that they couldn’t whisper and scheme with one another. The original Social Distancing!
